Teradata (NYSE:TDC) today announced that AXA, a Belgian-based bank and insurer serving 1.8 million European customers, deployed a Teradata Data Warehouse Appliance to improve regulatory reporting and enhance operational intelligence to help employees on the front-lines of the institution to make the best decision possible. The Teradata Appliance provides a solid foundation for a range of powerful analytics designed to assist AXA to respond to the regulatory requirements for fraud and money laundering and make it possible to comply with both European directives - Basel III and Solvency II.
