Chartis Research is delighted to announce its latest collaboration with the European Risk Management Council (ERMC). Both organizations will be working closely on a series of “FinTech Think Tank Meetings”, focusing on the key digital trends driving innovation in risk management.
Key topics for discussion at these sessions include the major themes of analytics, artificial intelligence, stress testing and regulation, among others. Attendees, comprising C-level decision makers from the financial services industry drawn from ERMC’s membership, will have an opportunity to discuss in depth the benefits and implications of innovation on their businesses and the wider world of risk management. Sessions will be chaired by the ERMC’s Chairman, Dr Evgueni Ivantsov, and facilitated by the Head of Research at Chartis, Robert Stubbs.
The ERMC boasts a diverse membership base, with representatives from more than 90 organizations including global banks, challenger banks, insurance companies, asset management firms and other financial organizations. These include senior representatives from four of the five largest US banks, the eight largest UK banks, and three of Japan’s “big four” banks by assets.
“We are delighted to be working with Dr Evgueni Ivantsov and the members of the Council again on this important agenda,” said Robert Stubbs. “The transformative impact of financial technology is a recurring theme in our research at Chartis. We relish the opportunity to share our deep domain expertise and insight around all aspects of risk technology with this influential group, and help drive an engaging and stimulating discussion.”
Speaking about the forthcoming event, Evgueni Ivantsov, Chairman of the European Risk Management Council said: ”We are very excited about the inaugural Fintech think tank meeting, which will be an important addition to our range of think tanks. Fintech is going to be a game changer for financial businesses and for risk management in particular. This makes it important for decision makers to fully understand the opportunities and risks presented by Fintech. We are honoured to collaborate with Chartis, one of the leaders in technology research, bringing to the think tank their strategic vision and ample knowledge of Fintech and digital innovation.”
The meetings commence on Tuesday 6th December, with a session focused on analytics.
