SAS: Does Basel III Apply To The Community Bank?
Basel. The first time I heard the term was when a chief credit officer of a community bank holding company asked me, “What do you know about Basel?” He pronounced the word as “BAYzel,” so my first thought was, “Well, I put basil in my spaghetti sauce, but I don’t think that’s what he’s asking about.”
